Synopsis:
Belisario waits, his wife is very ill, he quietly works on his sheeps as a strange healer comes to meet him. The healer has come to save Belisario´s wife and gives him the mission to climb the Andean mountains, near the glacier to bring a powerful object buried in snow that will be part of the ritual. The wife´s luck depends entirely on Belisario and the choices he has made.

La Virgen Negra wins Best Short film Award and Special Jury Mention at Colombian Film Festival New York!
The main set of this film is located in the Andes Mountain Range, around 3.800 meters above the sea level. Here I grabbed a local myth about a giant monolith called The Devil's Pulpit, and inspired by a black Virgin Mary painting that is held at Guicán's (nearest town) church, rewrote a story that tries to relate both of them. The second set is located at 5.000 meters above the sea level, it implied a 7 hour hike with lenses, camera and batteries on our backs. It was a crazy trip.
